Over 30 abstracts will be presented at the symposium from Islands including Dirk Hartog, Phillip Island, Norfolk Island, Lord Howe Island, New Zealand, Flinders Island, Sir Edward Pellew Archipelago, Tasmania, Tiwi Islands and, of course, Kangaroo Island. Presentations cover a wide range of topics, issues and learning from Island Stewards, including Traditional Owners caring for the country, community engagement, integrated land management, feral eradication, conservation introductions, public-private partnerships, climate change, sustainable tourism and managing hyper-abundant species to name a few.
